Another EcoVAP Deployment in Permian Underscores Value as a “Complimentary” Technology

Another EcoVAP Deployment in Permian Underscores Value as a “Complimentary” Technology

April 17, 2025

A big shout out to the EcoVAP E&C team for another on-time full-scale deployment of two Evaporation Matrices™ in the Permian despite prevailing 60mph winds. The client is a large oil/gas company and was limited by an SWD that was operating at near full capacity with very high PSI.  With EcoVAP, the client will now be able to dramatically reduce SWD flows and increase production. Bottom line: EcoVAP can compliment other produced water technologies, reducing the risk of any one disposal method underperforming while increasing overall disposal capacity at low cost.

Indonesia Cancels Mine Due to Catastrophic Tailings Risk in Seismic Area
June 2025
While Indonesia’s decision to cancel a high-risk mine permit (reflecting wet tailing storage in a high seismicity risk area) is laudable, EcoVAP can create a win-win by eliminating the water, thus practically eliminating the need for a wet TSF.
Now its the Shallow SWD’s That are Causing “Widespread" Contamination Problems in Permian
May 2025
Over the past five years, the Texas Railroad Commission (RRC) has put increasing restrictions on deep well wastewater injection due to earthquake incidences, so oil/gas producers began injecting more into shallow formations.
