APPLICATIONS

EXCEEDING EXPECTATIONS

FOR SUSTAINABLE WATER OPERATIONS

EcoVAP Evaporative Matrix™ technology was developed to meet the needs of our most water-stressed sectors. Realizing traditional approaches were failing to address the scale of their water challenges, EcoVAP’s biomimicry solutions were uniquely designed to transform the efficacy, safety, logistics and costs associated with ethical water management.  EcoVAP Evaporative Matrix™ and Water Recovery™ installations are powered by solar radiation and natural convection, eliminating the need for external power sources to drive accelerated evaporation and condensation. The resulting high humidity levels (95%-99%) that exist within an installation, regardless of local conditions effective restoration, and freshwater recovery capabilities.

“... daily water meter data indicate that the Evaporation Tower is 59 times more efficient in evaporating water..."

Golder Associates 2017 Engineer’s Certification Water Balance and Validation Test

VALIDATED AND CERTIFIED

TO GUARANTEE THE HIGHEST STANDARDS

In 2017 EcoVAP challenged one of the most respected engineering firms in the world, Golder Associates, to evaluate our technology’s performance under their most rigorous testing standards. Golder subjected an EcoVAP oil-field wastewater collection site near Myton, Utah to months of scrutiny and meticulous evaluation using a suite of sensors and 24 hour video surveillance. The results at the end of the testing period were astounding. Golder showed that the EcoVAP solution evaporated wastewater 5900% faster than the conventional control solution.

In this 2017 assessment Golder tested EcoVAP’s Generation 1 evaporation technology, which has undergone significant redesign and optimization. Based upon EcoVAP’s internal testing since that time, we are confident that during Golder’s next certification our Generation 3 solution will be shown to be almost twice as effective as Generation 1 at evaporating wastewater.

EXPLORE OUR TECHNOLOGY

EcoVAP commissioned the respected Natural Resources and Environmental Management Department at Ball State University to conduct a formal Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of our Evaporative Matrix solution. After careful review, the department concluded that not only was the EcoVAP solution found to be “an environmentally sound technology for accelerated removal of oil and gas wastewater across a significantly reduced land area” but the study concluded further that EcoVAP’s proprietary approach completely eliminated or dramatically reduced many of the adverse environmental impacts and risks posed by the most popular disposal methods.

FORGING STRONG PARTNERSHIPS WITH INDUSTRY LEADERS

AND WE ARE JUST GETTING STARTED

Our ground breaking technological innovations have lead us into strategic partnerships with industry leaders, Tallgrass Energy and Sumitomo Corporation. It is incredible validation for our industrial water handling technology to have industry veterans like Tallgrass and Sumitomo recognize the tremendous value of our accomplishments with large-scale commercial contracts for the oil and gas, and metal mining sectors.

ECOVAP is extremely pleased that its water technology has been embraced by the energy and mining sectors. We are also confident that our unique technology offers tremendous value to many other industrial sectors including thermoelectric-nuclear power, desalinization, commercial cooling, road and salt manufacturing, aerobic municipal sewage, agribusiness run-off, pulp and paper textile production.

GLOBAL JUST-IN-TIME MANUFACTURING

MAKING SUPERSTRUCTURES FROM 100% RECYCLED MATERIAL

Our third generation of panels can now be manufactured in partnership with existing injection molding operations found in most major countries around the world. Insteadof shipping hundreds of thousands of evaporative panels, we simply send several 23,000 lbs molds to the fulfillment center closest to the project site, and begin large scale manufacturing locally.
