How this site eliminated failure points in pH 1.5 conditions

What they needed was a wastewater handling solution that didn’t stop at evaporation. It needed to survive the chemistry.

No weak points in extreme acidity environment
Ecovap isn’t a modified system for harsh chemistry. It’s built for it from the start. The matrix is made from specially formulated HDPE, selected for its resistance to both highly acidic and highly alkaline conditions.
Every component in the fluid path and structure is built from materials that hold up under sustained exposure to both high acidity and alkalinity. That includes piping, valves and structural hardware. HDPE piping is used throughout the system where standard materials typically fail in low pH conditions. 316 stainless steel was used in place of standard aluminum in key areas exposed to extreme pH. Valves combined PVC bodies with stainless steel internal components to prevent premature failure.
From structural components to small hardware, materials are standardized to withstand sustained chemical exposure.
Nothing in the system is susceptible against pH extremes.
