Nicholas Murray, Chief Operations Officer

Nicholas Murray has been with the company since 2018 and was one of the first employees hired. Initially, Nick found Ecovap to be an investment opportunity, and shortly after, he recognized its potential. He knew that, with his legal background, development experience, and ability to enhance operational efficiency, he could be a valuable asset to the Ecovap team. Nick quickly took on challenges with operations, marketing, and finance. Nick became our Director of Operations and, in that role, was responsible for client communication, budgeting, site engineering, and installation. In his current role as COO, Nick built on his knowledge of building the Ecovap matrix to assemble a strong operational team ready to handle all aspects of the clients’ pre-site visit, implementation, and ongoing maintenance and support.
Nick was recently a director at SPB Capital Partners, a private equity fund based in Las Vegas. There, he was directly responsible for due diligence, portfolio management, investor and government relations, governance, and corporate communication. In this role, he also became involved in portfolio investments and oversaw construction projects, business development, and government relationships. Nick has also served as a police officer for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and a legal intern for the US District Court of Nevada.
Nick has been actively involved in his local community, serving as a church youth leader, youth hockey coach, and providing legal support to the Nevada Cancer Institute and serving as a legal intern for Judge Lloyd George. He serves on the management board of a 429-site, high-end luxury home master-planned development near Park City. He holds a Juris Doctorate from the William S. Boyd School of Law and a BS in Finance from UNLV, Magna Cum Laude.
He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys spending time in the mountains hiking and biking with his wife and kids. He enjoys watching his sons play hockey and his daughters’ English-style equestrian endeavors.
